The Pokémon Go Rowlet Community Day event will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 2–5 PM local time.
During the Community Day, you can expect to encounter Rowlet more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of capturing this delightful Grass Quill Pokémon.
One of the highlights of this event is the featured attack, Frenzy Plant. By evolving your Dartrix (the evolution of Rowlet) during the event or up to five hours afterward, you will obtain a powerful Decidueye that knows this Charged Attack. Frenzy Plant boasts 100 power in Trainer Battles, Gyms, and Raids, making it a formidable asset in your battles.
Additionally, starting with this Community Day, Decidueye will permanently gain access to the Charged Attack Spirit Shackle. This attack carries 50 power in Trainer Battles and 70 power in Gyms and Raids. Not only does it deal damage, but it also has a chance to lower the opposing Pokémon's Defense by one stage, enhancing your strategic options.
To further enhance your Community Day experience, an exclusive Special Research story will be available for purchase at the price of US$1.00 (or the equivalent in your local currency). The following bonuses will be in effect during the Rowlet Community Day:
3× Stardust for catching Pokemon
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day
2× Candy for catching Pokemon
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
Trades will require 50% less Stardust
