In Blox Fruits, Devil Fruits define your fighting style and power. But just equipping a fruit is not enough. To unlock its full potential and take your powers to the next level, you need to awaken your fruit. Only some fruits can be awakened, but those are seriously strong. This guide will help you understand how to awaken a fruit in Blox Fruits, and make the most of their upgraded abilities.

Awakening a fruit requires you to have a currency called Fragments, which drop when completing raids. Raids are small challenges where four players team up to beat five waves of enemies within a limited time. Each player can earn 250 and 1,000 Fragments per raid.
To begin a raid, only one player in the team needs to purchase Raid Chip from the Mysterious Scientist. This item unlocks at level 1100, and costs 100,000 Beli. There are two locations to find the Mysterious Scientist:
In the Second Sea, find the scientist in a hidden room on the cold side of Hot and Cold Island.
In the Third Sea, go to the Castle on the Sea.
Remember that each raid is themed after a specific fruit. In other words, to awaken the Buddha Fruit, you must complete the Buddha Raid while holding the Buddha Fruit.
After successfully finishing the raid, you will be automatically teleported to a room, where you meet the NPC Mysterious Entity. Speak to them and spend your Fragments to awaken your fruit’s moves. You can only awaken one skill at a time in order: Z → X → C → V → F.
However, some fruits have exceptions:
Quake has only 4 abilities
Rumble and Phoenix have one extra awakening after F
After purchasing the awakening, you will be sent back to the island where you last set your spawn point. Repeat this process until a fruit is fully awakened.

Not all Blox Fruits can be awakened. Only a select group of fruits are able to unlock this powerful upgrade. A total of 12 awakenable fruits including Flame, Ice, Sand, Dark, Light, Magma, Quake, Buddha, Spider, Phoenix, Rumble and Dough. Here’s list of their awakened abilities and fragment cost:
