Trading safety guidelines

DON’T

1. DO NOT return in-game items under any circumstances and regardless of the reason given, even if it is the same character that just traded with you. Only scammers ask for items to be returned, and you are fully liable and responsible for your own actions if you return the items.

2. DO NOT purchase product listings as payment or exchange for other goods. Make sure the final product you plan to receive is the same as the listing description. For example: If you want to buy a WOW account and the seller asks you to order Path Of Exile items then it is most likely a scam. Please report this to us immediately.

3. DO NOT disclose any information (e.g. your PlaySwap account login details) to the seller as this may jeopardize your account security.

4. DO NOT take risks when trading outside of PlaySwap as this is not protected by PlaySwap.

5. DO NOT make any other transactions in the game. Transactions are for delivery of your order only.

6. DO NOT accept any in-game advertisements sent via whispers or private messages.

7. DO NOT entertain sellers who try to solicit sales from your persona by directing you to another website.

8. DO NOT click on any suspicious links or attachments as they may lead to harmful websites or compromise your online security.

9. DO NOT complete the transaction or click “Good Delivery” in your transaction screen, as that would mean you have validated and accepted the trade instead. Once a transaction has been completed, it is finalized and there will be no returns/refunds.

DO

1. DO take screenshots or evidence and send a request to Playswap support team with the order number and complaint summary if you notice any seller engaging in inappropriate behavior.

2. DO purchase accounts that come with recovery access so you can take full and complete ownership of the account.

Ensure Smooth Transactions

Our Sellers are expected to work with Buyers to resolve issues quickly, but sometimes when an agreement cannot be reached, PlaySwap will step in to help.

Your Money Is Safe

Payments are not directly made to the sellers, but to PlaySwap first, only upon PlaySwap's approval does the payment goes to the seller.

How PlaySwap Guarantee Works?

1. Contact the Seller to let them know that you are escalating the dispute.

2. Open a dispute request for the order.

3. This will pause the 2-day auto-completion countdown timer and allow us to review your case and assist both sides on the issue.

4. Your payment remains held under PlaySwap (and not paid out to the Seller) until a final decision is made by us.
